Sorry about that. An explanation:

~tasfyn-partyv= hotpatching is a good thing
~tasfyn-partyv@ didn't even have to change any data structures
~tasfyn-partyv= :talk is actually set up to log continously to a file
~tasfyn-partyv= this is how we're going to put urbit-meta on urbit.org
~tasfyn-partyv= but it doesn't scale
~tasfyn-partyv= we should be printing only one new json onto the file
~tasfyn-partyv= but for some reason we're doing a sh*t ton of work
~tasfyn-partyv@ was warned about this by the author...
~tasfyn-partyv= but chose not to believe him for some reason.
~tasfyn-partyv= in any case it doesn't help that ++pojo is slow & unjetted
