We’ve decided to breach. We’re moving the network to new servers.
The new network is already up, so whenever you’re ready go ahead and:
- Stop your running urbit with ^D
- Backup any files that you’d like to keep. I usually just do cp ship-name/ ship-name.bak/, since I keep my %home desk mounted.
- In the directory where you cloned urbit:
- git pull origin master
- make
- curl -o urbit.pill http://bootstrap.urbit.org/latest.pill
- bin/urbit -w your-planet -t your-ticket-thats-long (or bin/urbit -c comet to create a comet)
We’ll be there to welcome you to the new era.
